Professional Profile

Jonathan is a shareholder in the firm’s Mobile (AL) office and has developed a diverse practice over the course of his career. Focusing on professional liability matters (representing the interests of accountants, title agents, etc.), business/commercial issues (including navigating employment claims, business disputes, contractual disputes, business torts, trade secret claims, etc.) and construction defect litigation, Jonathan also handles a variety of general liability matters. He routinely practices in both federal and state courts within Alabama and provides counsel to clients on matters outside of litigation.

Jonathan obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting from the Culverhouse School of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. Jonathan is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Mobile Bar Association, Baldwin County Bar Association, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Jonathan previously served as the President of the Mobile Young Lawyers. He also served on the board of the Mobile Bar Foundation.

In addition to his legal work, Jonathan is involved in philanthropic endeavors in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Dearborn YMCA, one of three remaining heritage YMCAs. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Hope Boxing Academy.

Jonathan spends his free time cooking gumbo and being a dad.
