USLAW's Employment and Labor Law Road Show Hits the Streets

Designed specifically for in-house counsel, human resources managers, regional managers, and adjusters who face employment issues in the workplace, USLAW’s Employment & Labor Law Road Show, entitled Employers' Defense: What Every Company Must Know Today to Be Prepared Tomorrow, takes the topics of most timely interest and brings them directly to the Client’s workplace.

Employers' Defense is completely customizable and is tailored to the Client’s needs. Offered cafeteria style, Clients can pre-select topics based on their time requirements. The full program is a 4-6 hours, but can be narrowed down to a one hour lunch-and-learn. If applicable, USLAW NETWORK can coordinate obtaining Continuing Legal Education credit for the presentation.

"Through USLAW NETWORK, member firms are able to provide to their clients access to skilled and experienced lawyers, who are highly respected in their local communities," stated Renée McElhaney, USLAW NETWORK Chair.  "The USLAW NETWORK Employment & Labor Road Show reflects this attribute.  It is the product of a collaborative team of exceptional E&L lawyers from law firms all over the United States, making the Road Show an invaluable tool to assist the clients of USLAW member firms with their legal needs in almost every jurisdiction."

Employers’ Defense is the product of a team of USLAW NETWORK attorneys spearheaded by Donean Surratt of Orgain Bell & Tucker, LLP, Beaumont, TX.

Highly experienced lawyer-members of USLAW NETWORK’s Employment & Labor Law Practice Group will present Employers' Defense. The Practice Group consists of approximately 150 USLAW NETWORK member attorneys based in more than 45 states across the nation, who focus their practice on E&L issues. The attorneys' independent firms, which comprise the USLAW NETWORK, have been vetted through USLAW’s strict admission requirements. As such, exceptionally skilled and season employment lawyers will present the subject matter of Employers' Defense.

"The laws regulating the employment arena present a constantly evolving challenge to employers," remarked David Yandle, Chair of the USLAW NETWORK E&L Practice Group.  "With a new presidential administration, the pace and breadth of the evolution will likely increase.   Employers' Defense is designed to provide companies with cutting edge analysis and training on the latest employment and labor law developments. And USLAW can tailor the program to each company's needs, whether that includes educating senior executives, updating insurance adjusters or training mid-level supervisors."
