  • Ellen C. Pappas was recently elected the Florida Association for Women Lawyers ("FAWL") representative from the local Tallahassee Women Lawyers ("TWL") chapter.  TWL is a leading chapter of FAWL.  TWL promotes the status of women in the legal community and creates, improves, and maintains supportive networks among members in the legal profession through mutual cooperation, respect, and good friendship.  In this position, Ms. Pappas will serve as a liaison and representative of TWL.
    Ms. Pappas has played an active roll in TWL previously holding offices of Secretary, Program Director, and Continuing Legal Education Chair.  Ms. Pappas practices in Carr Allison's Tallahassee, Florida office where she focuses on the defense of transportation, automobile, and construction litigation.
  • Congratulations to Matthew Liebenhaut for being named a 2010 Up & Comer by Florida Legal Elite.  Up & Comers are under 40 or those in practice fewer than ten years. Liebenhaut practices in Carr Allison's Tallahassee, Florida office.

  • Congratulations to David K. Howard for his inclusion in the Alabama Law Foundation’s Fellow Program. This honor acknowledges the significant contribution Mr. Howard has made to his profession and his community throughout his career. Election as a fellow is limited to one percent of bar members.

  • Carr Allison shareholder, Brett A. Ross, was recently appointed to the DRI Social Networking Task Force.  The committee will formulate a comprehensive social networking strategy for DRI.  Mr. Ross practices in Carr Allison's Birmingham, Alabama office where he focuses on the defense of transportation, products, professional liability, environmental and life, health and disability litigation.
